E aí, bem! Joia? I'm Maria Tereza, also known as Rata Brasileira, but you can call me Teté. I’m 20 years old and currently living in Brazil. At the moment I’m an architecture student, but I’ve been working as a freelancer with digital and traditional art since 2021. It’s in 2024, with LuxArk Co., that I got the chance of mentoring about the vast field that visual arts can be. My acknowledgement of drawing and painting came from my passion and curiosity for every type of creation. So it was at a pretty young age that I started studying art by myself.
As a huge generalist artist; I do a little of everything. I have the belief that experiencing different areas of a single subject expands your repertoire to create unique ideas of your own. It can come off as chaotic, but when you stick with the concept, it becomes just a different mindset to see and recreate. I have in me that the important thing is to be faithful to what you want to express, to defend and to present. So I’ll be always asking you “what”, “why” and “how”.

About Me
Hi, my name is Eve. I am a freelance illustrator and tattoo apprentice from the Netherlands (so my apologies for my accent).
I love everything related to game and fantasy themes. Especially that "splash art" style. I graduated in game art and focused mainly on characters.
I have also followed a lot of life model drawing classes. So I think my favorite topics would be anatomy and posing.
I like to give feedback by doing overpainting's and just typing in channels. But in the future if I have more mentee's (who are interested), I would like to do group sessions/calls where we critique each other. Because I believe that is the best way to learn. And I am always up for suggestions or creating assignments. I do not want to give any pressure, the main goal is to have fun and make friends. 😊
